Parents steps before your child starts school:
1-Download the Esikids App. We use the EsiKidz App and software for communication, including texts, reminders and photos. If your child will be away, late, or picked up early, please use the app to let us know. When you registered, you used this software and were sent a QR code to complete the registration. ** TLC does not use features like credit cards or online payments.
2-Make sure the school has all current information for your child.
3-Review the packing list below, and gather the items for your child’s first school day.
4-Please feel free to ask any questions you have.
Packing List for School;
1- BACKPACK—Large enough to hold a snack/lunch bag, a complete change of clothes, crafts for home, and a water bottle.
2- A snack bag/pouch that fits a whole snack, filled with two snacks for AM/PM snack times. Lunch bag (full-day students), filled with lunch items your child enjoys. NO PEANUTS.
3- Water bottle.
4—Change of clothes: Socks, shirt, pants, underwear. Please put the clothing in a ziplock bag with your child’s name on it.
7-Indoor shoes- that can stay at the preschool. Please, no lace-up shoes.
8—Send your child in outdoor shoes and clothing that can be worn daily during walks and outdoor play.
9—If your child is still working on potty training, please pack the necessary items, such as pull-ups, diapers, and wipes.
Please label everything you send with your child. This is important as often, students will not recognize their new items, or another student may have the same items.
