THEMES
July Camps
Week 1 — Water Fun: It is time to kick off the summer with a bang. Join this fun-filled wet camp as we celebrate summer through an exploration of water. We will enjoy water play inside and out. Pack a towel and change of clothes if needed.
Week 2 – Outdoor Adventure: Prepare for a new adventure each day. Camp day, beach day, safari day, Wild West day and scavenger hunt day are the daily themes this week. Join us as we celebrate the world outside.
Week 3 —Dinosaur Explore: TLC’s favourite camp is back. Join us as we go back in time to the Dinosaur age. Explore plant-eaters and meat-eaters as we dig for Dinosaur bones and become junior Archaeologists! This will be a fun week filled with learning about these large animals that once roamed where we live today.
Week 4 – Princess and Super Hero: This week will have different characters, treasure hunts, super speed skills and pirate ships. Wear a costume every day if you dare. Treasure maps, magic wands, a hunt for gold and enchanted dreams will be a part of this week’s princess and superhero adventure.
Week 5 – Creative Camp: Messy art days, making music, fairytales, nurses rhyme, and dance movement is happening this week. We will use different art modes that inspire fun and learning, inspiring one-of-a-kind creations, creativity and excitement. Get ready to have some new artwork and clear space so the little camper can show off their moves.
August Camps
Week 6 – Crazy Camp: We are halfway through summer by this week. Will you be going crazy yet? This week’s camp will allow all the wiggles, giggles and more to emerge. It’s crazy sock day, crazy hair day, backwards day, crazy hat day, and throw in some pyjamas for crazy fun. We will explore activities inside and out.
Week 7 – Space and Science: Get ready to get messy! Using a combination of science and art, we will turn mess-making into learning. We will create volcano slime and test science experiments. The adventure continues as we explore the moon, sun, and stars and learn about some favourite planets in outer space.
Week 8 – Sports Week: Mini Olympics, summer & winter sports, soccer, t-ball, beach ball, dodge ball, parachute games, and more. Obstacle courses in the field and classroom add another fun challenge. We will celebrate all our little sports stars with games & sports indoors and outdoors. Score a goal and finish off the summer with a Gold medal.
